Testimonial

"The Swimming Stages Swim School has been a Godsend to my son, Jonah, who for many years, was unable to get the right swimming lessons because of his disability. Jonah is a high functioning autistic boy, who has a great love for the water, but didn't have the swimming skills to manage the water.

This caused a lot of fear and stress for me as a parent because of the media coverage of many  young children drowning in pools that were unsupervised.

When I emailed Ms. Collins about my son, she didn't even blink. She just had me sign up and they have been working with Jonah for almost a year now. Their patience and consistency with my son is amazing. He has learned to swim and breathe properly, and because of the flexible schedule he is able to continue his lessons year-round.  This is important in the life of a child with autism because of their struggles with short term memory.

I applaud Swimming Stages for all of their work with children from all stages and walks of life. Susie and her instructors are wonderful to work with and are a real community asset.  I encourage other parents of children with special needs to give this program a try; you will be very surprised how well your children will do with this program. We have signed Jonah up all through to next summer so he will be prepared for any summer water activity. This peace of mind is invaluable in the day to day life of any parent - special needs or otherwise!

God Bless this program and these wonderful people!"
